Room Retaining Payment
A room retaining fee of £6 per night will be paid when your student is away for 4 nights or more but continues to occupy the room with belongings. It is not payable if the room is emptied of all personal belongings.
If the room is a shared room and both students are away, the cost of the retainer is shared by both students and you will receive the one room rate.
If only one student is away and the shared rooms has a remaining occupant, then you will receive 50% of the retainer rate.
Payment Dates
Please see the calendar below.
Single room: £185 per student per week for full board accommodation.
Shared room (twin beds): £175 per student per week for full-board accommodation.
Please note
- All payments, including room-retaining fees are calculated to the night, so if a student stays for 13 nights, you will be paid for 13 nights and not 2 weeks.
- An extra £30 per week will be paid for students who request a halal, vegan, coeliac or lactose-free diet
